Recover more wine and reduce operating expenses with STS systems

STS centrifugal clarifier systems offer many advantages to optimize the winemaking process.

Our unique design delivers maximum recovery from lees with lower total cost of ownership than a lees crossflow system. With an STS system lees can be concentrated up to 95% v/v which is higher than crossflow systems can achieve. This allows for better wine or juice recovery and reduced waste compared to crossflow systems.

On wine clarification, the overall operating expenses of a crossflow can be significant, especially when the replacement cost of the membranes is accounted for. The STS system can be used to polish wines prior to the crossflow which reduces the solids load and makes the entire process significantly more efficient. Less cleaning of the crossflow is required which will also help in prolonging membrane life and reduce overall operating expense.

We have trial units available ready for harvest 2024, lets talk!
